About Us
“I think of Mike Winter and I think of the following words in this order:

– Honest
– Reliable
– Experienced

It’s been a bit more than a year since I had the pleasure of conducting business with Mike Winter as we built our dream home in the Minocqua area. On reflection of this process, I grew to know a man in Mike that I now consider a friend. It’s such an incredible decision to make when it comes to choosing a builder, and Mike Winter will lead you down the right path in what can be a somewhat tricky journey.”

“Mike Winter remodeled my cabin on Island Lake and did a fantastic job. He was easy to work with and his crew was talented, hard working and kept the site clean. He did what I requested and stayed on schedule, which I found to be very rare in the Northwoods. He is currently working on a new project for me and I expect more of the same.”

“When we purchased our lake property in 1999, I polled the local residents and business people to find the best general contractor in the area.  One name kept coming up:  Mike Winter.  Our project included remodeling a guest cottage, turning a run-down boathouse into a water toy storage building and constructing a new home with attached garage and detached garage — all while we lived four hours away.  We needed a quality builder we could trust to complete the project with minimum supervision.  We found that in Mike Winter.  Perhaps the best compliment I can pay Mike is to say that over the last seventeen years we have never thought of using anyone else for our projects — big or small.  He and his crew have continually provided us with quality workmanship and attention to detail.  Thanks, Mike!”
